May 3, 1957 – October 21, 2022
The light has gone from my world -my husband John H Peterson passed away on October 21, 2022.

He leaves behind wife, Karen, brother Stan (Cheryl McMillen) Peterson and 2 sisters. Children, Sarah Holst, Jerry Peterson, April Lupien, Amberly Peterson, Timothy Benson, and Christina (Curtis) Hinman. 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Was predeceased by mother, Mildred Gates.

At a later date, the family is planning “one heck of a John party.”

In lieu of flowers please support/contribute to the Omaha National Cemetery Support Community (oncsc.org) or Javelan Service Dog (firstrespondersfoundation.org) or any other military organizations.

I was blessed to know John. He always had a smart a$$ comment and a smile. He was quick with advice and help with my RV. He knew I was clueless….. I so enjoyed my time spent at campsites with him and Karen. His time on earth has passed, but his memory lives on with a smile.
