John E. Peterson, 97, formerly of Ceresco passed away January 26, 2023, in Wahoo. Born December 19, 1925, in Sunrise, MN to Nels and Alfreda (Ryden) Peterson.
John worked for Nebraska State Department of Roads for over 27 years in sign maintenance.
Family members include his sons Marlin (Deb) Peterson, Minneapolis, MN and Larry (Mara) Peterson, Ceresco; 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandsons. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty, sister and two brothers.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday (2-1-23) Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
Visitation one hour prior to service.
