Jessica J. Rouse, 38, of Lincoln, passed away on 8/16/22. Jessica was born in Lincoln, NE on 2/19/84 to Michael R. Rouse and Sandra J. Mueller.

Jessica was a cosmetologist and caregiver for the state of Nebraska.

Family members include her son, Cayden J. Rouse; mother, Sandra (Greg) Taylor of Papillion; father, Michael Rouse of Lincoln; aunts, Kathleen (Tim) Bader of Valentine, Darla (Tim) Kallhoff of Lincoln, Collette (Kelly) Lokken of Wilber; uncle, Lloyd Mueller of Lincoln; and her beloved pet pig Peppa.

Preceded in death by her grandparents, uncle Tobie Stutzman, uncle, and aunt Dan & Jeanie Rouse.

A Celebration of Jessica’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, 8/25/22 at Roper & Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Drive, Lincoln, NE. No Visitation due to cremation.

Memorials may be given to the family for future designation.

Jessica used to take care of my daughter Chelsea through Region V Services. Chelsea is going to really miss her. In fact Chelsea wanted to take a trip about 2 years ago during the summer and they worked it out with Region V but Jessica took her they met with my family there and had a good time for a week. We have so many good memories with her. We will really miss her.

O Jessica I can’t wrap my head around this !! You like mariah Carey too is where it’s all started .. you where one of my best friends and i will cherish all of our memories close to my heart to binge watching charmed and twilight to me sleeping on ur couch for ever bc I didn’t wna be alone even thou I lived rite next door to you lol!!! I had the opportunity to be Jessica’s instructor in Cosmetology school, and she had such a sweet and kind soul. Would always do her best at anything that came her way, with of course, a smile. Jessica, you’re missed by many. Rest In Peace
