Jesse was one of the best and kindest men I’ve ever met. Hwarinv that he was a pastor now makes perfect sense. He was at school, every year volunteering in my classroom and other’s rooms in our Elementary school as well. I’m sure he had told me his mom was a teacher and that his last part of summer was setting up her classroom. No wonder he was so giving with his time. I spent countless amounts of my plan time just chatting with him. I truly loved spending time with him. In fact, I thought of him often wanting to reach out to see how he was. I appreciate and admire his true sacrifice for our freedom in the Air Force and how he was beside his daughter as she fought childhood cancer as a toddler. He and his wife sacrificed greatly to give her experiences and the best life. I am praying for his families strength at this difficult time. May he rest in peace.
