Janine Helen Hauschild, 69, of Lincoln passed away November 4, 2021. Born July 12, 1952, in Lincoln, NE to Allen and Paulene (Berner) Hauschild.

Janine attended Cottage Hill School, Syracuse High School, and Peru State College. She taught school for a number of years, and then worked at K-Mart and Walmart.

Family members include her parents Allen and Paulene Hauschild, Avoca; sisters Clara Jane (Mike) Royer, Deb (Andy) Gjerde, Sherri Hauschild (Cliff Morgan); brother Alan Hauschild (Trisha Lundy); sister-in-law Deanie Hauschild; nieces and nephews Jason (Michelle) Hauschild, Ross (Kelly) Hauschild, Holly (Adam) Mosel, Jeff Royer, Tyler (Jenn) Gjerde, Brooke Gjerde (fiancé Troy McCaulley), Lauren Gjerde (Allen Robinett), Kyla Hauschild, and Logan Hauschild; and many great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her brother Randy Hauschild and grandparents Otto and Clara Hauschild.

Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Monday (11-8-21) Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.

I worked with Janine for several years at Super Kmart before it closed fisrt as a cashier and then as a supervisor. She was a good employee but what I remember most is that she was always friendly and enjoyed having a laugh even with us “kids”. My thoughts are with her family.

Alan & Pauline, family Sorry to see in the paper where Janine had passed away. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I can remember going to Cottage Hill School with Janine. Those were the fun times we all had together in a small county school and having birthday parties.
