Janice Kay Williams, 79, Lincoln, passed away February 10, 2018. She was born June 29, 1938 in Lincoln, NE to Fred and Marie (Franks) Merriman. She was a past member of North Pointe Community Church. Janice enjoyed politics and sports and was an all-around Husker Fan; Go Big Red!
Family members include her children, Sharon Cox, San Francisco, CA, Carol (Jack) Irons, Lincoln, Linda (Frank) O’Connor, Bellevue, NE, Robert Williams (fiancé Lisa), Martell, NE, Jill (Gary) Frankforter, Helena, MT, and Joan Williams (fiancé Chris) Nashville, TN; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Dixie (Don) Heinrichs, Davenport, NE; brothers, Fred (Judi) Merriman, Lincoln, and James (Joyce) Merriman Kearney; sister-in-law, Diana Merriman, Lincoln; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends; Janice was preceded in death by her parents, infant brother, Walter, brothers Tom and Ralph.
Memorial Service: 12:00 p.m. Thursday (2-15-18) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
