Jane Diann Bergfeld, Lincoln, departed this life Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Tabitha Journey House, after a long battle with cancer. Jane was born on June 27, 1959, in Lincoln, to Dale and Laura (Hesterberg) Bergfeld.
She was a graduate of Lincoln Northeast High School, and the University of Nebraska, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Home Economics. She worked many years in and around Lincoln as an interior designer. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her two brothers, Randy Bergfeld of Lincoln, and Dr. Scott (Dee) Bergfeld of Lubbock, TX., three nephews, Scott Jr., Carlos, and Nicholas Bergfeld, and numerous cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1800 S. 84th Lincoln, NE., on Monday, October 24, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a luncheon at the church.

The family wishes to thank the staff and nurses at Journey House for all their care and loving kindness these past months as they cared for Jane.
