James L. Brown, 71, of Lincoln, died Monday (9-30-13). Born (10-12-1941) in Pawnee City, NE to Clifford and Hazel (Thiemann) Brown. Owner/Operator Jim Brown Trucking.
Survived by wife, Ardis; daughters & sons-in-law Kristin & Mike Zelasney of Silver Creek, NE, Patricia & George Klinker of Lincoln, Ronda & David Holtzen of Glenwood, IA; 10 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren; Two brothers, Allan Brown & Friend, Karen Harlow of Pawnee City, NE, Rex & Doris Brown of Springlake Park, MN; Two sisters, Betty Kimes of Pawnee City, NE, Barbara Kotalik of Blue Springs, MO; Nieces & Nephews. Preceded in death by parents, son-in-law Doug Hansen, brother-in-law Ivan Kimes.
Family will greet friends from 2-5:00 pm Thursday, October 3, 2013, at Roper & Sons Funeral Home.
