James L. Brendle

July 12, 1935 - January 8, 2024

James L. Brendle, 88, of Lincoln passed away January 8, 2024. Born July 12, 1935, in Lincoln, NE to Roy and May (Marks) Brendle.

James served in the U. S. Army from 1958-1960. He was a repairman for LT & T Co. for 40 years, retiring in 1992.

James was a member of Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, Telephone Pioneers Association, and United States Ballroom Dancers Association.

Family members include his sister-in-law Marilyn Brendle; many friends and dance friends. Preceded in death by his parents and a brother Roger.

Funeral service: 10:00 am Thursday, January 18, 2024, Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, 8300 East Pointe Rd.

Visitation from 5-7 pm Wednesday, January 17, 2024, Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
