Jackson Lee Hohensee, son of Elizabeth “Liz” Hohensee, was born via emergency C-Section on September 3, 2022 at 8:48am weighing 1pound, 14.7ounces and was 12 inches long. Liz was only 26 weeks and 2 days into her pregnancy. Jackson’s lungs were underdeveloped, but he quickly proved to his family that he was a fighter. Soon after he was born, he developed a brain bleed and a perforated bowel. On September 11 he was life flighted to Children’s Hospital in Omaha. Jackson gave it his all, it was just too much for his little body to handle. On September 13, at 10 days old he was baptized and placed in his mommy’s loving arms. Jackson passed way that day, at 4:36pm.
Left to love him always, are his mother, Elizabeth; grandparents, Brian & Roxann Hohensee; Aunts and Uncles, Nick & Jenny Hohensee, Tim & Ashley Volkmer, Matthew Hohensee, and Jake & Samantha Hohensee; Cousins, Rilynn, Madi, Kenley, Leo, and Cooper.
A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Roper & Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Drive.
