Irene A. Rezac, 75, of Lincoln, died Friday, June 22, 2018. She was born November 8, 1942 in Wahoo, NE to Max and Clara (Koranda) Polacek. Irene worked for 47 years as a Correspondent Banker for National Bank of Commerce and then Wells Fargo. She was a member of North American Martyrs Catholic Church. She volunteered with many organizations including church, St. Gianna’s, Catholic Social Services, Kiwanis and 4-H. Irene was a family-oriented individual, who loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting and school events.
Family includes: husband, Ronald Epp, children & spouses, Allan (Shery) Rezac, Sharon (Todd) Munford, both of Raymond, Mark (Elizabeth) Rezac, Ceresco; son-in-law, Darren Strizek, Ceresco; step children and spouses, Cheri Epp, Weston, NE, Larry (RoxAnn) Epp, Lincoln, Rodney Epp, Denver, CO; grandchildren, Mason and Payton Rezac, Micaela (Matt) Rahe, Morgan Rezac, Reed and Kale Strizek, Brooke Munford, Jerome (Angi) Stilwell, Randi Stilwell, Kristi Jindra, Justin (Hannah) Jindra, Justin (Julie) Rubel, Olivia and Jackson Epp; many great grandchildren; sisters, Adelyne (Marvin) Woita; Carmen (Richard) Hoppe, brother Kenneth (Deb) Polacek; many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Dennis Rezac and daughter, Janice Strizek.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 28, 2018 at North American Martyrs Catholic Church, 1101 Isaac Drive, Rosary will be 7:00 PM, with family greeting starting at 6:00 PM, Wednesday at the church.
Memorials may be given to the family for later designation.
Burial will be at 1:30 PM, Thursday at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Wahoo, NE.
