Ilene Jane Brown, age 71, of Lincoln, NE, was born on August 30, 1951 in Indianapolis, IN to proud parents Mr. and Mrs. Hill. Ilene was loved by all the lives she touched and departed this life on July 2, 2023.
Ilene leaves to cherish in her loving memory sons, Antonia (Chantay) Brown, Deandra (Sherell) Brown, and daughter, Raelene (Cheech) Brown-Ammons; A host of brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews; 11 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.
Ilene was proceeded in death by her parents Mr. & Mrs. Hill, a host of siblings and stepdaughter, Ashley Brown.
Ilene earned her diploma in Indiana and attended college for computer programing. Ilene Brown was united in marriage to Ray Brown in 1975 in Indianapolis, IN. During the several years they were together they created 3 wonderful children. She enjoyed taking them shopping and going to the park.
Ilene Brown gave her life to the lord in 1976. She had a passion for fashion, shopping, and designing clothes. Her favorite competitive card game was spades. Ilene Brown was everyone’s mom.
Funeral Service 1:00 p.m Friday, July 21, 2023 at Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel, 245 N. 27th Street, Lincoln, NE.
Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to service at Metcalf Funeral Home.
Burial at Wyuka Cemetery, Lincoln, NE.
