Harold E. Johnson, 84, of Lincoln died peacefully and entered heaven’s glory on Nov. 4, 2015, with family beside him. He was born on June 14, 1931 at home near Ringwood, OK, to Edward and Malinda (Schmidt) Johnson. Harold worked 39 years for Back to the Bible Broadcast, having a part in getting God’s truth to the world.
He is survived by his brothers, Arthur (Marilyn) Johnson of CO, Leonard (Diane) Johnson of IA, a sister, Helen Isaac, NC, and 8 nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Other relatives and friends, as well as those who cared for him at Sumner Place, will miss him. He was preceded in death by his infant twin brother, Darold, by his parents and his brother-in-law.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. Wed. (11-11-15) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ St. View and visit one hour prior.
Burial will be Friday, the 13th in West New Hopedale Mennonite Cemetery, near Ringwood, OK, at 2:30 p.m.
