I worked at Hillcrest CC from 1968 to 1977. Dr. Reichenbach was a member and well-respected by all employees. I shared his obit with other former HCC employees and had positive feedback on the quality person he was. Our sympathies to his family and friends.

What a lovely, kind, and caring couple, as evidenced by many of these heartfelt tributes. George was a stalwart at Trinity United Methodist, and he and Pat were dedicated members. It was always nice to chat and talk golf on Sunday’s and they have been missed. How fitting his life will be celebrated at 16th and “A.”

George and Pat were active tennis players. Both were athletic, good natured and a friend. It was a fine group to play with at Hillcrest CC – Olson, Ediger, Gaylord, Borland, Karavas (2), and so many talented women players. A fun time when summer City Tennis league traveled to Woods, HCC, LCC …

Pat and family we were saddened when we had heard George had passed away. We always enjoyed visiting with you and George at the Husker Womens Basketball games. I remember the time George couldn’t find his car keys after one of the Husker BB games and we gave you guys a ride home – George later found the car keys in the coat that he had worn to the game! God Bless him and may he Rest in Peace.

A very nice guy, I hold love and admiration for he and his wife. I have very fond memories of them. George was a teammate to my grandson in high school Who is now in his thirties, so that tells you how far that goes back. But the kindness in Georges heart would not let him forget about Tra and he always sought to keep up with him in such a caring manner. Even when he lost track of Tra, he would ask numerous people whom he came into contact with, if they new him and that led to even recent visits. Sometimes God sends amazingly kind people into our lives. George was one if them. So glad to know him. Rest in heavenly peace George. My deepest condolences to his family. May God comfort your hearts in your grieving.

Dear Steve: I was sorry to hear about your Dad’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your Dad was a great supporter of the Lincoln Chief’s baseball team when we were in grade school. Both of your parents were always friendly when we were playing baseball and football at Southeast, close to your house as we often needed water. I’m sure he’ll be missed.
