Fritz H. Blatt, 75, Lincoln, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2011. Born December 4, 1935 in Norfolk to Fritz C. and Helen (Cordts) Blatt. Married to June Wagner on August 30, 1959. United States Army veteran. Graduate of the University of Nebraska. President and Co-owner of Eagle Company, Inc. and Engineer for the Nebraska Department of Roads. Memberships: Deacon and Elder of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Knolls Country Club, Executive Club of Lincoln, Nebraska Alumni Association, American Legion, Wilderness Society. Enjoyed hunting, fishing, vacationing at the YMCA of the Rockies, and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
Family members include wife, June Blatt; daughters, sons-in-law, Jill and Marty Anders, Castle Rock, Colo., Jana and Chris Lantz, Kansas City, Mo.; grandchildren, Kristen Anders, Ty and Kate Lantz; mother, Helen Blatt, Junction City, Kan.; brother, Bill Blatt, Chapman. Kan.; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by father, Fritz C. Blatt.
Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2011, Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2110 Sheridan Blvd. Rev. Dr. Andrew McDonald, officiating.
