March 27, 1996 - February 4, 2011

Fletcher Christian Harland-Dencklau, 14, formerly of Lincoln, died Friday, February 4, 2011 in Washington, D.C. Fletcher was born at BryanLGH West (then known as Lincoln General Hospital) on 3/27/1996 to Ela Harland (now Grantski) and Shawn Christian Dencklau. God saw fit in his plan to loan one of his most prize gifts of a child to two blessed people. From that day forward the gifts just kept coming. His imagination was one of his special talents. Because of his vast imagination he designed hundreds of different train tracks with one of his most precious persons, his little brother Jack. Fletcher attended Randolph elementary, and Lefler Middle School. In August Fletcher was able to move to Columbia, Maryland to live with his father who he adored. Shawn was in the Navy which allowed Fletcher a full life with lots of travel and exciting experiences. In Maryland Fletcher attended Wilde Lake High School. He was recently among the top to be accepted by JROTC.
