Emma Von Busch

Emma T. Von Busch, 85, of Lincoln, passed away (9/2/17).She was born (3/2/32) in Firth, NE to Peter and Christina (Schmidt) Meints. Emma was a homemaker to her children, as well as helping to run their family business, Von Busch and Sons (Lincoln) and Sanitary Garbage Co. (Beatrice), with her husband Jake Von Busch, Jr. She was a member of American Lutheran Church, and there a member of the Church Auxiliary. She loved spending time with her family and friends

Family members include sons, daughters-in-law: Dennis (Reva) Von Busch, Richard (Joan) Von Busch, Bruce (Paula)Von Busch; daughter: Debora Bell, all of Lincoln; grandchildren: Janelle L. Swanson, Christopher J. Bell, Nicholas J. Von Busch, Jason S. Von Busch, Adam L. Von Busch, Alicia K. Pasho, Grayson McNemar- Von Busch; step-grandchildren, Haley Leach and Michael Spellman; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Norma Reichwaldt, and Karen (Jim) Kerl; brothers, Virgil (Mary) Meints, and Leroy (Sharon) Meints, all of Lincoln; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Preceded in death by parents, husband Jake, Jr., son Steven, brother Emil, sister Engeline

Funeral Service to be held, 2:00 p.m., Wednesday (9/6/17) at Roper and Sons Funeral Home, 4300 ‘O’ St, Lincoln.

Memorials may be given to American Lutheran Church, 4200 Vine Street, Lincoln, NE 68503.

Visitation with family, on Tuesday, (9/5/17) from 2-8 p.m., at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street, with family greeting friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
