Elsie R. Ackerman, 90, of Lincoln, died Thursday (9-19-13). Born (2-6-23) in Table Rock, NE to Charles Eugene and Mary Magdalene (Lowe) Rowland. Elsie worked for 31 years for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Manufacturing Plant. Her family includes her daughters, Judith (Nicholas) Bolejack, Alvo, NE, Sandra (Leon) Underwood, Dunbar, NE; 16 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Packett, Omaha, NE; sister-in-law, Velma Rowland, Pawnee City, NE; special friend, Ernie Siems, Lincoln, NE. Preceded in death by parents; husband Wayne; daughters Janet and Candy; son Gary; great grandsons Justin and Trevor; 4 brothers; 2 sisters.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday (9-28-13) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street with Pastor Kerry O’Bryant officiating. Burial in the Brethren Cemetery, Alvo, NE.
