Ellen D. Kapperman, 90, of Lincoln, passed away July 10, 2021, in Milford. Born December 10, 1930, in Winona, MN to Alex and Jessie (Suttie) Hale.
Ellen was retired from University of Nebraska Lincoln where she was a cook on the east campus. Ellen actively volunteered for the Lincoln Action Program (LAP) and with The Center for People in Need.
Family members include her daughter Linda (Robert) Voss, Lincoln; grandchildren Amy Bolton, Lincoln, Cory (Pamela) Voss, Springfield, and Ariana Brandstetter, Lincoln; 7 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Edwin, daughter Diane Brandstetter, granddaughter Amanda Nielsen, and grandson David Voss.
Celebration of Life Service will be 10:30 a.m. Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Antelope Park in the small shelter. Share your memories with others in the community who experienced and loved “Grandma Ellen”.
Memorials in Ellen’s honor may be made to a charity of your choice. In lieu of flowers, live plants are preferred by the family to keep her memory present with us.
