Elizabeth adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her illness often prevented her from visits and gatherings, but she would light up during conversations about them. She was the first to brag about their adventures and accomplishments.
Elizabeth was a retired schoolteacher who taught in Riverside, CA and Houston, TX.
Family members include her daughter Brenda Busch; son Dean (Linda) Busch; grandchildren Alyssa, Jacob, and Ethan Hammett, Madeline Busch, Zach (Jamie) Juilfs, Trent and Ryan Juilfs; 5 great grandchildren; sisters Rose Abrahamson and Patricia Hruza; brothers John (Sandy) Hruza and Bob (Beth) Hruza; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, sisters Darlene Russell and Georgia Hackworth, brothers Bill, Jim, Gene and Leonard Hruza.
Funeral service: 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 13, 2023, Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2001 South 11th Street.
Visitation with family present from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm Sunday, November 12, 2023, Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Drive.
