Dwight Lloyd Johnson, 81, of Lincoln, passed away April 28, 2018. Born September 28, 1936 in Osmond, NE to Iver and Blanche (Lingenfelter) Johnson. Dwight was a licensed real estate broker since 1961 and owned Johnson Appraisal Company from 1979-2016. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Appraisal Institute MAI, SRA. He worked for several Savings and Loans in Lincoln. He served as a deputy city tax commissioner and officiated at high school and small college football games.
Family members include his wife, Donna; sons, Randy (Jeanine) Johnson and Craig (Grace) Johnson; grandchildren, Grant (Jamie) Johnson, Megan (John) Clabaugh, and Marisa Johnson; great grandchildren, Edyn, Gage, Elijah and Gabrielle; sisters, Julie (Bill) Thomas and Carolyn Hanke; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, John (Diane) Behrens and Katherine Behrens. Preceded in death by his parents; 5 year old son, Scotty; and sister, Cheryl.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday (5-4-18) Christ Lutheran Church, 4325 Sumner Street with Rev. Dr. Luke Schnake officiating,
Memorials in lieu of flowers to Christ Lutheran Church, The Lighthouse or Peoples City Mission.
Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Thursday with family present from 6-7:30 p.m. at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
