Dwain Allen DeBoer

January 4, 1935 - August 16, 2024

Dwain Allen DeBoer went to be with the Lord on Aug. 16, 2024, in Midland, Michigan. Dwain was born in Firth, NE, to Raymond and Evelyn (Sherman) DeBoer. He was 89 years old.

He will be remembered for his love for the Lord and his family, his service to the church, and support for missions. He enjoyed helping others and had a great sense of humor. Dwain lived in Bennet, NE, most of his adult life, where he and wife Mary Lee raised their family and were very involved in church ministry at Rosemont Alliance Church and Country Bible Church. He was employed at Cushman Motors/Outboard Marine Corporation for 38+ years.

Dwain leaves behind his daughter Rhonda and son-in-law David Sarafolean, daughter-in-law Karen DeBoer, grandchildren Katie (TJ) Scheid, Kyle Sarafolean, Nick (Jake) Levine, and great-granddaughters Blakely and Bellamy Scheid, sisters Darlene Ludzack and Marilyn Wipf, and brothers Warren, James, and Raymond Jr., sister-in-law Marie DeBoer, and many nieces and nephews.

Dwain was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Mary Lee (Randall), his second wife Eva (Jury), son Randy, parents Raymond and Evelyn, brother Ervin, sister Marjorie Schubert, sister-in-law Joyce DeBoer, and brothers-in-law Karl Ludzack, Harvey Wipf and Jack Schubert.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 26, at 4:00pm at the Bennet Cemetery followed by a light meal at Country Bible Church at 5:00pm for friends and family.

Memories and reflections on Dwain’s life will be shared at the meal.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to Country Bible Church “Mexicali Project.”
