Duane Grantski, 89, of Lincoln, passed away 12/21/2017 surrounded by family.
Born 1/12/1928, in Lincoln, NE to John and Cynthia (Proper) Grantski. Duane was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, a former member of UNL Touchdown Club and Nebraska Society of Tax Practitioners.
Duane graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1952 and began his accounting career. Duane loved his family, football, traveling and yard work.
Family members include, Wife of 67 years, Barbara; Son, Joe D. Grantski of Dallas, TX. Three Grandchildren; and 8 Great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by son James, parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Family will greet friends 6:00-7:30 on Tuesday 12/26 at Roper and Sons ‘O’ Street Chapel (4300 ‘O’ Street).
Funeral Service: Wednesday, 12/27 at 1:00 at the Roper and Sons ‘O’ Street Chapel.
