Dr. Wilbur G. Wiedman, 86, Lincoln, died Saturday (6-5-10). Born in Lincoln to Dr. Earl V. and Mary Louise Gunsual Wiedman. Dr. Wiedman was a Retired Lincoln Physician. He served in the Navy during WWII and the Korean War as Captain and Flight Surgeon for General Curtis E. LeMay.
He attended Gustavus Adolphus College, the University of Nebraska where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi, and the University of Nebraska Medical School, where he was a member of Phi Rho Sigma.
He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, and former member of The First Presbyterian Church of Amelia Island, Florida where he was involved with the Stephens Ministry. Past member of the Lincoln Country Club, The Golf Club of Amelia Island and Ducks Unlimited.
