Dr. Calvert was an amazing doctor! He was our family doctor for me and my siblings. My best memory was when he was willing to provide care for my brother who had Sickle Cell Anemia, a rare disease that affects mostly African Americans. When another doctor had given up hope for my brother he was willing to figure out what he could do. When I had my first daughter he was her doctor as well until he retired. Sending prayers to the Calvert family May God continue to bless and Keep all of you.

Dr. Calvert how I loved you and the care that you provided for my children and grandchildren. You took extra care of my son Sherdal Kelley with his sickle cell disease when no one else would. You continued to care for my son up to his adult years. I pray for you and your family in this time of loss.

Dr. Calvert was my doctor and also the doctor of my younger brother who suffered from Sickle Cell Anemia. He was the doctor that was willing to help my brother. Before becoming his patient a previous doctor said there was no hope for my brother, Dr. Calvert believed differently. He remained our family doctor and when I had my first child he was her doctor as well until he retired. A very caring man as were the other doctors of Lincoln Pediatric group. May God bless and keep his family.

Dr. Calvert was my doctor as a young girl. I remember going to see him and how safe he made me feel. He was kind and gentle and he was a wonderful medical provider. Even years later, I never forgot him and his professional and personal care for me as a patient. My condolences to the family.

My deepest condolences to you all. I have very fond memories of Dr Calvert growing up near his family home (and being good pals with Kathy), and later as my Son’s Pediatrician. He was a wonderful man.
