Dorothy J. Tice

October 9, 1932 - October 25, 2022

Dorothy J. Tice, 90, of Lincoln passed away October 25, 2022. Born October 9, 1932, in Lincoln, NE to Henry and Frieda (Trebelhorn) Kolb.

Dorothy retired in 1998, after 26 years as Office Supervisor for Gateway Manor. She was a member of First Plymouth Church, Daughters of the Nile Naphis Temple #66, P.E.O. Chapter FQ, Starcraft Chapter #307, OES, and VFW Auxiliary.

Family members include her daughter Holly Adams (Rick), Martell, NE; son Jerry (Kelli) Tice, Bolivar, MO; grandchildren Lexi McKinney (Lance), Ashton Tice (Alexis), Westen Tice (Rachel), Matthew Warner (Melanie), Neallene Warner, and Kuhlmann (Anthony); 13 great-grandchildren; brother Bill Trebelhorn (Barbara), Fountain Hills, AZ; sister-in-law Katie Trebelhorn, McAllister, OK.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband James, stepfather Bill Trebelhorn, and brother Glenn Trebelhorn.

Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 31st, 2022, at Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Drive.

Memorial contributions may be directed towards Sesostris Shrine/Children’s Hospital, 1050 Saltillo Rd, Roca, NE 68430, First Plymouth UCC or Capital Humane Society, www.capitalhumanesociety.org.
