Dennis, Julie and Family, My deepest sympathies on your loss of Doris. As a teenager in Malcolm, I used to babysit Julie. Later on when I worked at NBC, I would occasionally see Doris’s smiling face. I have such wonderful memories of those times. Praying God will help you through this difficult time.

I’m so sorry to hear of Doris’s passing. So friendly, so nice, such a wonderful person to know, sit with ar games, and watch kids/her grandkids grow up as her granddaughter and my son were in the same class at Malcolm – such good times were had!! Doris had a beautiful smile, a great laugh and made everyone feel welcome – she will be missed!!

What I remember most about Doris is the way she made me feel; valued and loved. She will be missed but no one loved is really gone. They reside in each person they ever touched.

The main thing that stands out is that Doris was a Christian and loved by everyone. We can’t remember a time when Doris was upset with someone nor anytime someone was upset with her. She was more than a friend she is family.

I have so many fond memories of Doris at NBC!! She was my dad’s secretary for a long time! Always friendly and helpful and I loved her big smile! I’m sure it wasn’t always easy dealing with my Dad but he loved her like a sister. It was so nice seeing her at Dad’s service. One special lady! Sending love and sympathy.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Doris worked very hard at NBC keeping Jim Nissen, Tom Potter and myself on the straight and narrow. Many fond memories of working with Doris…and that was before there were desktop computers…it was all on typewriters. But she would correct my mistakes always with a smile on her face. A life well lived but I’m sure she will be sorely missed.

Best Volleyball Grandma any child and team could have. Support and positivity she brought to games and practices made life fun! Doris never had a bad word to say about anything. The world will miss her, but she is in a better place!

Of all the wonderful memories I have with Doris and Doris and Denny is the time the 3 of us set out on a mission to get trophies for the Dominator baseball team. We were in a rural area and set on achieving our mission. We laughed and laughed for about 2 hours while on our adventure! Best time ever. To know Doris, is to love Doris. She is so special to our family. God bless the extended family. You are in our hearts and prayers.
