Donald “D.A.” Adams, 63, of Lincoln passed away December 2, 2024. Born June 9, 1961, in Lincoln, NE to Norman “Lee” and Betty “Radar” (Vosburgh) Adams.

Don was manager of production/lighting/audio in the entertainment industry.

Family members include his wife, Susanne; son Donald Lucas Lee (Anna Marie) Adams, Firth; grandchildren Charlotte, Lucy, and Stella Adams; sister Deborah Adams Schlueter (Royce), Seward; 1 niece, nephews and cousins; bonus kids Ryan (Mallory) Conner, Mindy Pollard Swenson (Seth), Danielle (Nik) Fox, Madison Lynch, Ty Lynch, Matthew Lynch, and Lola Lynch.

Preceded in death by parents and sister Barbara Spanel.

A robust celebration of D.A.’s life will be held in the near future.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.

Became acquainted (for a few years in my work life/State Fair) with DA. He ALWAYS had a smile on his face. I would have accounting questions and no one likes to answer those, but he was gracious and kind in helping me. That was so totally out of his ‘zone’, but he was great to work with. Hope our paths cross someday again – up there – what a gift he had for the musical/entertainment world. Certainly gone too soon.

DA was the love of my life. I’m so lucky he loved me so much. Never a day without my best friend by my side since the first date. He was crazy protective and being married made him so happy. Thank you for making my life complete and always making sure I knew I was loved.
