Don Medinger, 61, of Seward, Nebraska, passed away on October 29, 2016. Don was born on September 30, 1955. The true measure of a man is what he did during his life. Don believed in the good in everyone. He loved his wife and sons and was a friend to everyone. His easy going, gentle personality made it easy to care about him. He lived his life surrounded by the people he loved, and each day provided kindness and a smile to all he met. Whether it was coaching his sons and many other sons in baseball and basketball or selling tomato chips and Jel-jam at the farmers market, Don was someone who loved life. He frequently hunted with his brothers and sons. He enjoyed fishing and has many master angler awards.
Don is survived by his wife Sue, sons Don II and Joe, parents Don and Irene, brothers Dave, Dennis, and Duane, and sister Diana Kehrli. He is preceded in death by son Mark, sister Donna, brother Dan, and Grandparents. Family will greet friends at the funeral home 6-8PM, Monday.
Funeral Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at Roper and Sons 4300 ‘O’ Street, Lincoln NE.
