Dolores E. Maxon, 87, Lincoln, passed away October 10, 2016. Born March 11, 1929 in rural Saline County, NE to John and Vilma (Broz) Pesek. Homemaker. Member of the Friend United Methodist Church, W.S.C.S. (Women’s Society Christian Services), and Grange Farmers Organization in Friend, NE. Dolores enjoyed golfing, quilting, horse races, baking, gardening, card playing, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Family members include her son, Tom Maxon, Omaha; daughter, Colleen (Brad) Bowker, Lincoln; brother, Marvin (Gay) Pesek, Eagle; sister, Mary (Bud) Swanson, San Bernardino, CA; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends. Preceded in death by parents, husband, Charles and daughter, Cheryl.
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday (10-15-16) Indian Hills Community Church Chapel, 1000 So. 84th Street, Lincoln. Family will be present 1 hour prior to service to greet friends and family.
