Denny is survived by his parents, Linda and Bob Bauer, and Dennis and Doreen Johnson; his children, Savannah, Deangelo, Dominick, Diego, Daniel, and Delayna; and beloved grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sisters, Nikki (Alan) Morehead and Tayler (Adam) Bonczynski, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly. His special friend, Sheri Bartek, and his loyal canine companion, Layla, will also miss him deeply.
Preceded in death by grandparents Marilyn Bunch, Kenny and Lynn Johnson.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 11am, at the Roper and Sons Waverly Chapel (10851 N. 148th St. Waverly, NE) with gravesite services immediately following at Rose Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Roper and Sons Mortuary in honor of Denny’s memory.
Denny’s warmth, humor, and dedication to his family will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love and storytelling will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
