My family had the pleasure of knowing Deb not only as a nurse, but as a teacher. She was always so warm and inviting to myself, my husband, and my children. Deb, I was so glad to have seen you at my own sons memorial service. I’m just sad that is the last time that we saw each other. Sending you love on the other side.

We have been blessed to have Deb in our lives for over twenty years. We always enjoyed our twice a year coffee visits at the Mill on our way from Canada to Arizona and back. We also cherished our many phone calls. When we think of Deb the following words come to mind : warm, kind, fun loving and caring. Deb, you always made time for us. We miss you so much. You will always have a special place in our hearts. Rest in peace my friend.

Deb was beautiful inside and out. She was talented in so many ways, but especially at being a generous and welcoming friend. We shared many fun meals together with our friend circle. Deb worked along with Kent to help me after my husband died. I found out then, that Deb was extraordinarily willing to give selflessly to others with love and compassion. I will miss her smile, laughter and hugs. Peace beautiful queen. Sincere condolences to Kent, her family and friends.

I am blessed to have so many wonderful memories with Deb. We had some great times together, from the golf course to riding roller coasters together, and a whole bunch of stuff in between. I’m truly grateful to the woman who became a sister to me. I can simply sum Deb up like this. If you look up the word “compassion” in the dictionary, there is a picture of Deb. I have yet to meet another person as warm and caring as her, and doubt I ever will. Until we meet again Deb, rest in peace. Love you.

Deb was very warm, friendly, smart, beautiful and a perfect match for Kent. When they ‘found’ each other, she fit into our tight-knit group of friends perfectly. Only regret is I wish I’d known her better and far, far longer.

Debbie was one of the sweetest people I have ever met. I was blessed to have gone to high school and graduate with her. She will be missed and the Class of 1981 at Bloomfield High School sends their deepest sympathy to her husband, parents, sisters, extended family and friends.
