Dale I. Mercer, 86, of Lincoln, died Saturday (5-4-13). Born (9-1-26) in Beatrice, NE to Waldo and Margaret M. (Brown) Winter. Homemaker. Also worked for RSROA (Roller Skating Rink Operators of America).
Graduate of Lincoln Northeast High School. Attended Saint Paul United Methodist Church. Dale volunteered for Meals On Wheels. She was a member of the Tri Delta Sorority.
Survived by her son, Rex, Jr. (Cathy); daughters, Nancy (Kevin) Brockley, Lynn (Steven) Culp, all of Lincoln; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 9 nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law: Mary Jo Winter, Shirley Voller and June Winter. Preceded in death by husband of 60 years, Rex, Sr.; parents; brothers, Hubert Winter and Waldo Winter II; niece, Jodi Voller; nephew, Tom Winter; great nephew, Peter McMahon.
Memorial Service: 11:00 am Thursday (5-9-13) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street with Rev. David Lux officiating. Private family inurnment.
