Army Air Corps Veteran (2-5-43/10-5-45). Was a POW for 15 months. United in marriage to Mabel E. Ropers on January 30, 1952. Member: Trinity Lutheran Church, Walton, active member, Lutheran Layman, EX POW Lincoln Chapter, participated in the death march (500 miles in 70 days), recipient of Air Medal and Prisoner of War Medal, American Legion Post 280, Bennet and South Lincoln VFW Post #4626.
