Cody J. Eggert

October 30, 1998 - February 6, 2023

Cody Jordan Eggert, 24, of Wichita Falls, TX, passed away on February 6, 2023. He was born on October 30, 1998, in Lincoln, NE, to Shannon and Jody (Schemmel) Eggert.

Cody graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in criminal justice from UNO. He was an active-duty member of the United States Air Force, serving as a 2nd Lieutenant at the Sheppard Air Force Base.

Cody is survived by his parents, Shannon and Jody Eggert; sister, Katlyn Eggert; grandparents, Karen Eggert, Bob Eggert, Dee Wurtele, and Gary Schemmel; great- grandmother, Peg Schemmel; aunt, Kelly Kreifel; uncles, Marshall Eggert and special friend Sarah Armstrong, Spencer Eggert and wife Fiona; his 2 dogs, Max and Molly; and several cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Roper and Sons South Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Dr, 68516.

A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Roper and Sons South Chapel.

Graveside with military honors at the Czech Cemetery in Odell, NE at 2:30 Wednesday, February 15, 2023.
