Byron W. Duff, 85 of Lincoln, passed away on November 19, 2018 surrounded by his family. Born June 29, 1933 to James and Helen (Chapman) Duff in Phillips, NE. A Veteran in the United States Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. He worked in construction until his retirement in 1997. Byron enjoyed many different activities throughout the years such as: traveling, bowling, garden tractor pulls, card playing and volunteering his time for Foodnet.
Survived by his loving wife of 52 years, LaJean Duff; sons, Ron Duff (Lisa Miller) and Steve Duff; brother, Dan (Dee) Duff; nieces, nephews, family, friends and loved ones. Preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Gaylord, Doug, and Laverne.
A memorial gathering with family greeting friends will be 5-7 p.m. Friday (11-23-18) at Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Dr., Lincoln, NE. Cremation/no formal service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed towards the family for future designation.
