I believe Bruce was put on this earth to laugh out loud. Bruce’s friends and family knew Bruce was the kind of guy that shared his love through practical jokes. Bruce’s antics are awesome stories that my family tells over and over again and will continue to tell at parties as we celebrate his memory through making others laugh out loud. For me personally, Bruce taught me to pay attention to the little things like the smell of a new baby, the beauty of a random flower and the comfort of a soulful basset hound lounging on the couch. Since Bruce’s passing, I have looked for that random beauty along the cement on my walks with my own pup and I take comfort in the puppy soul at the end of the leash. These things make me happy too! But I think I will cry the next time I hold a baby and smell that sweet baby’s head.

I believe Bruce was put on this Earth to laugh out loud and spread his love through gifts of practical jokes! Those who knew him well, knew he would go to great lengths to make you laugh and keep you on your toes! His practical jokes are the fodder for many awesome stories at our house and the tales will continue to be told at parties as we celebrate his memory by laughing out loud!! For me, personally, Bruce will forever remind me to find the joy in the little things of life; the sweet smell of a new baby in the neighborhood, the beauty of a random flower he saw on a walk and the comforting soul of a basset hound lounging on his couch. Each day since his passing, I walk my own pup, I look for that random beauty along the cement and feel the comfort of the puppy soul at the end of the leash, it makes me happy too. But the next baby I hold will probably make me cry.

One of the finest humans I’ve ever known. Bruce left this world better than he found it. May God bless you and welcome you home.
