Bruce Allen Uribe, 55, Lincoln, passed away March 7, 2017. Born April 28, 1961 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Fidel and Leona (Hoeft) Uribe. U. S. Navy Veteran. Carpenter for Peter Kiewit Construction Company. Bruce attended the Catholic Church and was a member of the Carpenter’s Union.
Family members include his wife, Kim; children, Shelby and Trevor Uribe, Lincoln; step-children, Courtney Schwenk, Omaha and Christopher Sheldon, Lincoln; 4 step-grandchildren; sister, Deb (Stan) Barnett, Lincoln; brothers, Daryl (Robin) Uribe, Omaha, Kent Uribe; step-sister, Donna (Frank) Kaura; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Charlotte and brother, Richard.
Celebration of Life Gathering will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday (3-12-17) at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
