Betty L. Ball, 92, of Lincoln passed away on November 22, 2021. Born August 24, 1929 in Clear Lake, Iowa to William and Margaret (Borton) Wreghitt.
Betty married John W. “Bud” Ball on December 7, 1947 in Ventura, Iowa. They moved to Lincoln, Nebraska in 1949 and had two sons and one daughter. Betty was a dedicated homemaker, wife, and mother.
Family members include her sons, John W. Ball Jr. (Melvina) of Eagle, NE and Tom Ball (Sharon) of Lincoln, NE; grandchildren Jeff Ball, Shelly Ball, and Kala Bourek (Ryan); great-grandchildren Xavyer and Thaxton Bourek; brother Fredrick J. Wreghitt (Carol) of Marble Rock, IA, sister Nancy Nonnwieler of Mason City, IA; sister-in-law Leona Wreghitt of Clear Lake, IA.
Preceded in death by parents; husband John “Bud” Ball; brothers William B. Wreghitt and Lloyd Wreghitt; daughter Susie Pfieff.
Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday (11-27-21) at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel.
Private family burial, no visitation.
