When I think of Betty, I always remember her beautiful smile that would light up the room. She always had a kind word and keen interest in anything and everything I was doing. She was such a wonderful person and will be so missed and remembered so fondly by everyone that knew her. She was truly one of God’s angels on earth! My sincere condolences to her family.

I met Betty while working at Tabitha, she was the sweetest most loving person to be able to take care of and sit down for a couple of minutes and talk to! Each shift I would always stop by to see her and talk about the pictures of her family that she had always kept on her wall. While Betty had covid I was able to spend everyday with her and take extremely good care of her! Although Betty had a hard time being able to take care of herself I was always so grateful and happy to do it for her, we always had some funny laughs each day! Her favorite thing I’m sure was all those warm cozy blankets I brought her and bundled her up with, she would always make this cute little sigh of relief and I knew she felt so warm and cozy and happy to be watching her tv shows while her and I colored in our coloring books together! I will miss Betty so dearly, my sincere condolences to Betty’s family. ❤️

I met Betty at Tabitha during the time my mother was a resident and where I continue to serve as a volunteer. Before the pandemic, Betty would often walk down to our daily chapel service. Always a bright & smiling face. After Max passed away and she spent more time in her room I would spend time with her watching portions of movies on the Hallmark or the Classic Movie Channel or helping her read her mail. I was also able to share the Sunday morning service from First Plymouth Church which we would watch later in the week. I could tell that Betty had a great appreciation for music, something we had in common. I will truly miss Betty. My sincere condolences to Betty’s family & friends.

Betty was a beloved member of Chapter GV, P.E.O. in Lincoln. She was a member of the Sisterhood for 56 years and a charter member of Chapter GV in 1970. One of our members, Shirley Brown Gibson, also has fond memories of Betty and her husband Max, who taught Shirley music lessons in Palisade, Nebraska. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Betty’s family.
