Barbara Ann Turner, 94, of Lincoln, passed away May 25, 2016. Born June 26, 1921 in Syracuse, NE to John Alexander and Mary Iva (Cory) Jamison. Ret. 1986, Graduate with a BS from the Cincinnati University, Vocational Instructor for the State Dept. of Education. WWII WACS Veteran. Member of First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Order of Eastern Star, Rebekah Lodge, Pythian and Women’s Auxiliary Corp.
Family members include her daughter, Harriet Kallemeyn, Sacramento, CA; sons, Gredon (Lauree) Turner, Gregory (Sally) Turner, all of Lincoln; 6 grandsons; 3 granddaughters; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents; brother, G. Verne Jamison, sister Margaret Jamison Belt; husband, John; grandson, Christian, great-granddaughters, Reagan and Devyn.
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday (6-1-16) First United Methodist Church, 2723 N. 50th Street with Pastor Larry Moffet officiating. Burial prior to service at 9:00 a.m. at Park Hill Cemetery in Syracuse, NE.
Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Tuesday with family present from 6-8 p.m. at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
