Arch Jack Harvey

September 22, 1937 - August 4, 2010

Arch Jack Harvey, 72, Lincoln, died Wednesday (8-4-10). Born (9-22-37) in Bell, California to Milroy and Veona (Appel) Harvey. Ret. Field Engineer, LT & T Company.
U. S. Marine Corp Veteran. First graduating class of ’56 at Southeast High School and first Homecoming King. Lettered in football, basketball and baseball. Eagle Scout ’55. Attended the University of Nebraska. Married Sharon Landolt in May 1961. Longtime active member of First Presbyterian Church, current member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. Worked for General Dynamics Quality Insurance, U. S. Military Base, Puerto Rico. Avid athlete and outdoorsman. Could fix anything with duct tape and bailing wire.

Family members include wife Sharon; daughter, son-in-law: Sandra and Mike Mitchell; sons, daughters-in-law: Michael Harvey and Tania Gray Esq., William and Michele Harvey; grandchildren: Jack and Reid Mitchell, Caitlyn, Caeden and Beckett Harvey; brothers: James Harvey, Dr. Daniel Harvey, and Dr. Joseph Harvey; sister: Roylynn “Cissy” Package, and all their wonderful families. Jack was fortunate to be surrounded by many wonderful and caring friends his entire life. Preceded in death by parents Milroy and Veona, nephew Matthew Harvey, niece Michelle Harvey, father and mother-in-law Dr. Paul and Lillian Landolt.

Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m. Monday (8-9-10) St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 8550 Pioneers Blvd. Pastor Dan Safarik officiating. Private prior graveside service.

Memorials in lieu of flowers to Wounded Warrior Project.

No visitation/cremation.
