I’m so sorry to hear that Melinda has passed. I hope your family can handle this together. My thoughts are with you.
I worked under Mrs. Krumm at Colo-Nesco. She was a strong, caring leader. She loved her family passionately and allowed us to do the same. I remember singing “Through the Years” at her retirement after rewriting the words so they fit the situation. My heartfelt sympathies go out to you all.
Dear Mike and Family:
We were very saddened to hear of Melinda’s passing. Please know that
our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time, and in the future.
The years at Jesup have passed by, but we think of you often.
I worked with Mrs. Krumm at Colo-Nesco. She was a professional who was very interested in the students and meeting their educational needs, but also caring of the staff. Mrs. Krumm was a strong lady, who possessed a soft heart. May your many memories sustain you at this difficult time. May your faith, your family, and your friends provide strength at this difficult time.
Mike and family, so sorry to hear of Melinda’s passing. She did so much for education. We also remember and appreciate what you did for us at Jesup, Mike. Prayers for peace as you remember a life well lived.
Mike and Family,
We send our deepest sympathy and prayers upon the passing of Melinda. She made a huge impact on advancement of education for many communities and countless students, as you have Mike. We enjoyed and appreciated the friendship of your entire family during your time at Ballard Schools. Take care and look to the anchors of faith, family and caring friends for strength and hope going forward.
Godspeed,
Lorraine and Pete Hoffman
So sorry to hear of Melinda’s passing. I was a teacher at Colo-Nesco and admired her strong leadership skills. I also remember her smile. She loved her family and was always so kind to learn more about our families as well. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
My sympathy to Mike Krumm and family. I knew from other educators that Melinda was a very compassionate and intelligent administrator. So sorry that the grandchildren won’t have a grandmother to be with them in the future.
Mike,it seems hard to believe it has been 34 years since we three sat in graduate class at UNI. May God continue to wrap you in His arms and comfort you all.
