Matthew B. Christman, 29, of Lincoln passed away on November 18, 2020. Born July 22, 1991 to George Christman and Donna (Pfeiffer) Christman in Skokie, Illinois. He worked as an Armed Security Guard for VT- SGI and is a United States Marine Corp Veteran.
Matt enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and kayaking. His beloved dog, Brewskie, was by his side on most of Matt’s adventures. He also treasured any time spent with family and friends.
Survivors include his parents, George and Donna Christman of Woodridge, IL, his brother, Kevin (Augustina) of Baltimore, MD, and his sister, Jessica, also of Woodridge, IL. His significant other, Kristina Via-Reque of Lincoln, NE, also survives Matt and will remain in integral part of the Christman Family. Also surviving Matt is his uncle Gary Christman, aunt Kathy, and cousin Ashley, all of Seneca, SC. His dog, Brewskie, will go on living with family in Illinois and dreaming of great adventures with his best buddy, Matt.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, November 23, 2020 at Roper & Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Dr., Lincoln, NE. Cremation/No Visitation. Following the CDC COVID-19 guidelines, we will comply with social distancing seating and limited room capacity. Masks are required and we respectfully ask for your understanding and adherence to these guidelines.
