Marian Elaine Sexton, 88, passed away on November 23, 2018. Born on November 4, 1930 to Harrison and Ester (Long) Gould in York, NE. She worked for over 40 years with the Road Permit Section of the State of Nebraska Department of Roads. She enjoyed attending Husker Football and Basketball games. She also enjoyed bowling with her very dear friends including bowling in the non Max League. She received the Ren Settell Award.
Her surviving family members include nieces and nephews: Susie & Diane Sexton, Leonard (Barb) Schluter, Carol (Rodney) Mitchell, Ronald (Sara) Schluter, Cindy (Scott) Bechtolt, Robert Schluter, Connie (Jerry) Dudley and Patty (Dave) Haver. Preceded in death by her parents and husband, Edward “Eddie”.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday November 28th, 2018 at Roper and Sons, 4300 O St., Lincoln, NE. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
