Kelly E. Stoddard,41, of Lincoln died Thursday March 7, 2019 at his home in Lincoln NE. Celebration of life will be at 11:00 a.m. March 14th, 2019 at Roper and Sons, 3950 Hohensee Drive with Pastor Kerry O’Bryant officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date. No visitation. Memorials suggested to the family for later designation.
Kelly was born January 5th, 1978 to Jack and Linda (Norris) Stoddard in Lincoln, NE. Kelly was united in marriage to Erin Knopik on February 21, 2004 in Lincoln, NE. He was employed at Wayne’s Body Shop for 22 years. He had a passion and talent for custom painting motorcycles, many of which won awards.
Kelly is survived by his wife Erin, daughter Katelynn (Tyler Havener), son Kyler. Parents, Jack Stoddard and Linda Stoddard. Brother Jack Stoddard Jr., sisters Miranda Stoddard, Gina (Alan) Garcia and Bonna Gordy. Grandmother, Loretta Henriksen. Parent in laws Patrick and Krissa Knopik, Gayle and Greg Miller as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and beloved friends.
Kelly’s greatest passion was his love for his family. He adored his children Katelynn and Kyler and constantly bragged about their accomplishments. He enjoyed taking them camping and being involved in all they did. Kelly loved his co-workers at Wayne’s Body Shop and their daily shenanigans.
Kelly loved skateboarding and teaching others how to do it. He cheered loudly for Husker football and the Denver Broncos.
Kelly’s wishes would be for people to wear casual dress, Husker or Broncos gear to his celebration.
