Helen M. (Buresh) Benes, 87 of Waverly passed away peacefully on July 8, 2018. Born December 19, 1930 to Anton and Helen F. (Jelinek) Buresh in Bee, NE. Member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and the St. Patrick’s Altar Society.
Survivors include her children, Linda Coulter, Barbara Benes, Dian (Dave) Densler, Rita Jo (Michael) Shea, Dale (Holly) Benes, Brian Benes; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul J. Benes; brother, Anton C. Buresh; son in law, Dennis Coulter.
A Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m., Thursday (7-12-18) at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 6111 Morrill Ave, Lincoln, NE. Visitation with family 5-7 p.m., Wednesday (7-11-18) with a Rosary service at 7 p.m., Wednesday, both at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Burial at Lincoln Memorial Park.
