Gerald “Jerry” Lawton, 75, Raymond, passed away April 10, 2019. Born July 3, 1943 in Hastings, NE to Merle and Isabella (Lipman) Lawton. U. S. Army Veteran. Farmer.
Jerry was a member of the Ceresco United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 244 in Ceresco, Nebraska Limousin Association, Valparaiso Cemetery Board, former Ceresco Town Board member and past member of Raymond and Ceresco Fire Depts.
Family members include his wife of 53 years Peggy; daughter Gail (Jeff) Spech, Ceresco; brother Larry (Ann) Lawton, Pleasant Dale; sisters Judy (Larry) Ohnoutka, Valparaiso, Marlene (Arnold) Lowell, Ceresco and Debbie (Steve) Swanson, Lincoln. Preceded in death by parents and brother Mike.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (4-16-19) Ceresco United Methodist Church, 421 North 2nd Street. Burial in the Oak Creek Cemetery, Raymond.
