Dorothy “Dottie” G. McCartney Vifquain, age 99, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, May 27, 2019, at Eastmont Towers, Lincoln.
Born October 22, 1919, in Lincoln NE to Roy M. And Grace (Folsom) McCartney.
Family members include daughters, Terri Pomajzl (Stephen) of Firth, Brenda Kruse (Dale) of Cabool MO. Five grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Rudge” Vifquain, her parents, her brothers Kenneth L. McCartney of Lincoln and Duane N. McCartney of Pebble Beach CA.
Celebration of Dottie’s life will be 10 a.m., Thursday, June 6, at Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 O St. Private family burial.
Memorials to People’s City Mission and The Juvenile Diabetes Association.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
