Conception H. Owens (Connie Mendoza), 61, of Lincoln passed away August 31, 2021. Born January 20, 1960, in Council Bluffs, IA to Pascual and Delores (Huerta) Mendoza.
Connie worked as a caregiver. She attended St. John the Apostle Catholic Church.
Family members include her husband Jimmy Owens, Sr.; sons Jimmy Owens II and Sebastiano Owens; grandchildren Jazzlynn, Mia, Calvin, and Ayden, all of Lincoln; siblings Leopoldo, Jesse, Pascual, Arturo, Santiago, and Jose Mendoza, Soledad Tamayo, Carmen Cordova, Maria Stockton, and Cristina Blakely. Preceded in death by her parents and brother Gonzalo Mendoza,
Rosary: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday (9-7-21) at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 7601 Vine Street followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.
